i am making this as a wedding gift. the wedding was in October. i'm getting closer to finishing. school is getting in the way of my productivity.

especially of fireworks, i am looking forward to the 4th of July
until then, independence hall, the birthplace of democracy... it's fitting with the first day of the new administration of hope and civic involvement.

i had goosebumps all day watching the inauguration coverage. part of me wanted to go to DC to be there in person, but the important part is that history is being made and i'm hopeful, a lot of people seem to be, even my grandma is hopeful and that says alot coming from an old grandma in the small town south.

i am done with winter, its so gray and depressing and makes me a little sad, plus this was a terrible day so the winter wasn't helping it feel any better
