Saw Uncle Sam out today on Chestnut Street. He was there with the laborers that renovated Del Friscoes. They did the work, they want to be paid. Seems pretty reasonable to me.

Went out for quizzo with some of those crazy kickball kids and we were winning... until the second round. Good times! Maybe next week.

I met with a guy from TIAA-CREF today. I decided that I should be saving for when I get old and wrinklie. He told me that it was good that I start saving now for many reasons, two of which I remembered. One -- the economy sucks and stuff is cheap now so buy buy buy. Two -- if I wait 10 years and then start saving, I will have to save twice as much each month to be in the same place when I retire. I tried asking him if now was the time to start planning for early retirement. He laughed.

Day 126

Finally found my college diploma. I thought I left it at Chili's after graduation but I guess not. I was so sure it was gone forever but it has now rejoined my life. I think I'll get it framed. Funny... Matt reminded me that I called Chili's a few months back just to see if they had it in lost and found. They obviously didn't -- but wouldn't have told me even if they did probably.

Just because the picture didn't come out well doesn't mean that we didn't pass up a man covered in silver paint from head to toe wearing a crazy hat and yelling on his cell phone. It was late night, and he was standing outside of a bar. He clearly was hours late for the child's birthday party that he was hired to play at... Maybe that is what he was yelling about on the phone.
