Took a walk down South Street this afternoon with Matt to support the local businesses who have been struggling with the economic downturn. We got tickets for an upcoming concert at the TLA, stopped and browsed some books at Atlantic Books, and I got a t-shirt that says "We Be Jammin'" and on the front are pieces of toast with knives and jam. This is a fun dinosaur painted on the window of The Bean.

by the way I was super terrible at taking pictures this whole weekend, for example its friday and i post one man band picture when i could have posted about going to hang with Genell and Eric and how we went to go ice skating but there was no public skate because Wiscapades was preforming... now that would have been a great picture. or I could have taken a picture of the man on Germantown Ave. that walked by and said "hey look its white people, Hi! White People" then proceeded to stop a vehicle and point out the white people the its occupants.

I have been getting very annoyed with not having a real desk and bookcase lately. So i've been looking at IKEA, due to its affordability. This is one desk that I'm thinking about... I don't love it but I can't afford something that I really love from an antique store... maybe when i grow up I can have nice things

Happy Birthday Meg!
Today was a great day. Slept great after a full day of skiing. Woke up and had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, yum. In the afternoon I went to Matt's parents house to celebrate his sister Meghan's birthday. The baby was there and there was cake. We came back downtown a little earlier than usual to wait for the giant snow storm that was supposed to drop 12 inches on the city and watched a movie. It was a wonderful day and I was hopeful for a snow day when I went to bed.
